Welcome to The Fellowship's
Visual Arts Interest Area!

VISUAL ARTS IN THE CHURCH

Research shows that over 60% of the general population has a learning style that is "visual" rather than "auditory," yet much of our worship is designed to be heard.  The role of visual arts in worship is not to compete with the spoken and sung Word, but rather to offer another avenue to the Divine.  The Viusal Arts Interest Area exists to help artists form connections with one another and to access resources--and to remind us all of our one purpose: to make the Gospel come alive. Feel free to contact Visual Arts Interest Area Chair Les Oliver or Arts Interest Area Coordinator Joy Lamb.
